Richard K. Peck, IV

Richard K. Peck, IV (“Rick”) is a licensed Florida attorney who is authorized to practice in all Florida state courts, but is also admitted to the United States Supreme Court, U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Florida. He obtained his undergraduate degree from Florida State University in 2002 and obtained his law degree or juris doctorate from St. Thomas University in 2005.

Rick has dedicated his legal career to protecting the rights of consumers and those injured in various types of accidents. He has prosecuted hundreds of debt collection harassment lawsuits on behalf of consumers throughout his career and has also had substantial experience in defending consumers when they are sued for credit card debts and for mortgage foreclosure. Similarly, Rick has experience in bankruptcy and various areas of personal injury law and is dedicated to helping those injured due to the negligence of another. 

In 2010 Rick obtained a $224,000.00 jury verdict award for a consumer in an action prosecuted under the Florida Consumer Collections Practices Act (FCCPA), and he is a member of both the National Association of Consumer Advocates and the Hernando County Bar Association.

Attorney Peck is Admitted to the Supreme Court Bar Association

The Peck Law Firm, P.A. is proud to congratulate Attorney Peck on his recent admission to the Supreme Court Bar Association.

According to the Supreme Court Journal, the official journal of the United States Supreme Court, only 3,360 attorneys have been admitted to practice in front of the Supreme Court as of June 28, 2019.

Attorney Peck’s admission is a cornerstone for the many legal accolades he has received over the years, and our entire staff could not be more proud. 

Pro Bono Attorney of the Year

Attorney Peck has been named the Community Legal Services of Mid-Florida’s 2017 Hernando County Pro Bono Attorney of the Year.

We are pleased to report that Richard Peck, the founder and sole proprietor of the Peck Law Firm, P.A., was recently named community Legal Services of Mid-Florida’s Pro Bono Attorney of the year for Citrus County, FL 2018.

Mr. Peck has won this prestigious award two times. In 2017, he was also named the Community Legal Services of Mid-Florida’s Pro Bono Attorney of the year for Hernando County, FL.
