Andrew Grim

Andrew Grim, Esq. (Andrew) is a licensed Florida attorney specializing in the areas of Consumer Law, Personal Injury Law, and Workers’ Compensation Law. Andrew is authorized to practice in all Florida state courts, and is also admitted to the Middle District of Florida. He obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from University of South Florida in 2017 with a dual minor in management and marketing and obtained his Juris Doctorate from Barry University Dwayne Andreas School of Law in 2022. Andrew graduated Suma Cume Laude from both Barry and the University of South Florida, and was ranked fourth in his law school class upon graduation.
Andrew was born in Tampa Florida and has lived in Florida for the majority of his life. After serving in the military and deploying to Iraq/Kuwait in 2010, Andrew left the military and later developed ambitions to enter the legal arena. Andrew worked as the Senior Paralegal for Christopher J. Smith, P.A. specializing primarily in Workers’ Compensation Law for three years prior to law school. During that time, Andrew had the privilege of working under Christopher J. Smith, Esq. and Mark Lee, Esq., both of whom specialize in Workers’ Compensation Law.
In Law School, Andrew continued to nurture his interest in helping injured workers by studying Workers’ Compensation Law under the late Robert Dietz, JCC for the Sebastian/Melbourne District. Similarly, Andrew also began to take a keen interest in the Florida Consumer Collection Practices Act (“FCCPA”) and had his student note published in Barry Law Review in 2021. This note specifically focused on how the FCCPA could be used to combat price gouging from hospitals, and Andrew’s scholarship represented a new contribution to that area of scholarship. Andrew has extensive knowledge in Personal Injury law, Worker’s Compensation Law, and Consumer Law, and has been instrumental in bringing complex consumer law litigation in Florida. This includes bringing and prosecuting appeals, class actions, and high-value consumer claims. In his free time, Andrew serves as the managing attorney on the board of Hoof Prints to Healing, a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Moreover, Andrew actively works with Workers’ Compensation Attorneys all over the state of Florida and has prosecuted hundreds of FCCPA actions on behalf of injured workers.
